The pink color of rose quartz is attributed to microscopic inclusions of a pink variety of the mineral dumortierite.
Origin:  Brazil

A mothering crystal.  Some say rose quartz helps mothers heal after birth, helps circulation, stress-related skin conditions, fertility.  Also said to help with stress, post-natal depression and overcoming abuse.
